By the end of 2008, they will have a fleet of 52 Airbus aircraft.
In addition, they signed a US $1.2 billion deal for two A380’s.
These will be delivered in 2009 becoming the flagships of
their fleet.
The airline will also be
the launch customers for the A340-600 High Gross Weight aircraft.
In 2006, this aircraft will arrive. They are the first airline
in the world to use the A319 Corporate Jet as well as the
Long Range version of the A319.
Qatar continues to invest
in their hub in Doha. They are also building a new sate-of-the
art airport. The first phase of the airport will open in 2008.
The cost for this phase will be US $2.5 billion. In 2015,
the final phase will be completed.
Travel insurance
is important if you are planning to travel. Buying travel
insurance that is suitable for your holiday needs is
also recommended, if you are planning
several holidays through the year then buying multi trip travel
insurance policy may be cheaper than individual single
trip insurance policies for every destination that you travel
to.
