The Airbus A330 was added to Monarch’s fleet in 1999. It had a Premium Cabin. The cabin had many upgrades including in-arm or seat back video and increased seat pitch. In 2000, Monarch launches their website. Flights can be scheduled online. By 2001 Monarch has a workforce of about 3000 people and that year they carry almost 5 million passengers.
