The Daewoo company, with its’ origins in Japan, have
a range of five models in the UK Car insurance groups
for the cars quoted below are among the lowest insurance groups
in the UK.
Here we will give some details on the currently available
vehicles:
Daewoo Matiz – The Daewoo Matiz is
a very compact vehicle, extremely useful for those who are
less than confident with their parking and want a small car
to squeeze into spaces, or indeed for those who only want
a small car to run about the town. The nought point eight
litre model, the lowest of the range, features good fuel consumption
figures at a reasonable price – currently around five
and a half thousand pounds- so perfect for people on a budget.
With an insurance grouping of two, money can also be saved
on car cover.
Daewoo Kalos – The Kalos is a slightly
wider and longer model than the Matiz with more powerful engine
types available as one point two and one point four litres.
The top model, Daewoo Kalos SX has ninety three brake horse
power and is priced currently at just under nine thousand
pounds for a brand new model.
Daewoo Lacetti – quite apart from
the previous models, which could be termed ‘super mini’s’
the Lacetti has a much more executive fell with a longer more
luxurious body available as a five door model. Again, higher
up in the range than the previous models horse power is increased
in addition to the cost with top of the range models coming
in at around ten and a half thousand pounds.
Daewoo Nubira – The Nubira is a larger
family car with better performance however fuel economy remains
good. Available as a four door model.
Daewoo Tacuma – The people carrier
model of the Daewoo range features lots of room inside the
car, enough for the larger families, their pets, luggage and
more. New prices on the road are around eleven thousand pounds
at the current time.
